I have almost given up hope, it seems so easy...

I have a skystar2 pci card using progdvb. I need to view this channel, its Armenia TV, FTA in MPEG4 on eutelsat w2 16degrees east

Its 12.642 V
Address MPEG-4 VPID: 3617 APID : 3633 Ar

does anyone know, I am wondering surely I can use the skystar and an appropriate codec in Progdvb to decode mpeg4. This is NOT a HD broadcast as it uses DVBS not S2, its just in MPEG4. Does anyone know where I can get a codec, how to install one? Id really appreciate any help, or does anyone have the facility to try this?

Regards

Look at
http://www.progdvb.com/download.htm
--> Elecard AVC/H.264 codec

There are also several other MPEG4 / h.264 compatible codecs around, most come with some software products, like a full Nero suite or latest PowerDVD f.e.

However, just make a recording and try to play it with all your players, to find out, if you're already owning a suitable codec, and where it is...

Regarding codec registering, look into the register.bat
Try to understand, it's quite simple.
