Bugs list

Hi,

I am using ProgDVB 6.49.4.0 for few weeks.
Before I was using old version, but it had a memory leak, and after several hours of recording, windows had virtual memory problems.
Now after I bought new version, I am totally disappointed.
It crashes so often, I am not sure if I can watch or record anything.
I use Hauppauge card with Technotrend chip produced almost 10 yrs ago, the good-old version with AV output for TV.
I have also CI and ASTON card, which I use with CYFRA+ card.
ProgDVB configured itself at install-time to software mode.

It hands totaly when I try to watch POLSAT from CYFRA+, and the old has no problem with it.
The program even crashes when I want to invoke Help/About Me dialog.

I know bug reporting and problem solving in multi device environment can be tough.

So I simply ask, is there some good configuration in which this program runs stable ?
I would buy new DVB card with CI, if it helps.

For now, my experience shows that ProgDVB is either buggy as hell, or does not support my card or drivers.

I would appreciate some suggestions.

Pees

I am using the 6.48.4 with a Nexus and a TT 1501 card. After more than one week of changing ProgDVB settings, codec settings and video card settings (deinterlace settings) i have managed to make it work well. However the "out of the box" experience wasn't good.

Now I am happy with it although I still have some small problems with the channel switch from one device to the other (this happen only for some of the channels) and with the audio synchronization for the HD channels. Hope to find some good settings for this until the trial is over.
