Remote receiver works over USB?
If so, it's most likely handled as HID in windows system control, means it's supposed to emulate keyboard functions.
This for, you'd have to teach it in for keyboard controls, not remote controls, AFAIK.

Sorry, that card's onboard IR control unit seems not to be available for ProgDVB.
The only one ProgDVB can handle directly (over the device file), is that of the Technotrend SkyStar1 premium cards.
That one ONLY the internal remote routines of ProgDVB are meant for.
Prog (beneath others) was able to implement that Philips SAA 7146 chipset based concept feature, thanks to availability of a good SDK, they gave away for free.
Support of such special hardware features mainly depends on the details the manufacturer (of card or chipset) gives away. Has to be FOC for freeware then, of course...
