DVB-T AF9005 BDA channel switching problem

#1
Hi All,

I just aquired this USB DVB-T stick (AF9005 BDA driver), and the problem is that original soft (BlazeDTV) does not have AVC decoder. I have tried ProgDVB, and with this program + AVC plugin I can see the picture, but I cannot switch the channel. If I change the chanel with BlazeDTV, then I can see only this channel with ProgDVB. So, to change the channel I always should launch BlazeDTV and change the channel :). Is there any solution how avoid this?

Have you been able to scan and store stations from ProgDVB? Full scan or 'search transponder'?

If so, did it find all of the transponders / frequencies?
Set the channel list properties to show all kind of signals and let it it group by transponder.

What exactly happens, if you are trying to switch to another station then? Level / Quality / EPG (Now & Next) and / or TXT working?

If trying, is there a difference in behaviour between changing within the same or to another transponder?
Any systematical difference between SD and HD channels (if available)?
Is t possible, some stations are (labeled as) crypted? Check channel properties for CA type / ECM / EMM entries, FTA normally does not have any.

I have a similar problem, accept I use DVB-T USB 2.0 stick Twinhan. After I installed the ProgDVB, this message always appears that there is some error and the program must close itself. And this always happens if the signal is weak. But if the signal is strong, there is again some anoying message saying about some codec error but then I click OK and the picture appears.

One way or another the ProgDVB doesn=t work correctly like it should and I cannot use even my remote control, because of this anoying message.
Otherwise, I use Windows Vista Business.
Do you have any idea what should be the problem? Thanks for any possible info about it.

Codec message points to not having installed the codec, that's selected in audio / video settings.

Look at the file 'register.bat' in filters sub folder.

Don't have Win Vapour over here, so no idea on your low signal trouble. But his may be related to the driver in use, or even also to codec issues.

Integrated remote control on BDA devices will require some proprietary tricks, that Prog does not have details on ATM.
This for, you may have to go for a WinLIRC solution, perhaps.
