Vista & Terratec DVB-C NO channels found

#1
Has anybody encountered the same problems? I have updated my Vista Ultimate and have the newest beta drivers for the Terratec Card.

I get 100% Signal strength but no Quality strength.

I'm using the newest Progdvb.

I can find the most channels on my XP Installation with ProgDVB, and on my DVB-C Receiver.

Waiting for help!

Greetings

No ideas how to solve my problem, yet?

Now I've tried the original software Terratec Home Cinema - it finds all the channels with Vista as OS!!!

I've also tried progDVB 5 but again, NO CHANNELS!

Please could anybody come up with an idea? I'm really frustrated at the moment...

Thanks in advance

For me this looks like some kind of driver trouble, which the original software might already know to handle...

Try with manual transponder scanning, use the same frequencies and parameters as the original soft does. Maybe ProgDVB does not have a suitable transponder list, if so, use your editor.

BTW, is it a BDA driver your card uses?
If so, what is the full name of the BDA device in ProgDVB?

Honestly, that's exactly what I tried after my last post!

Yes, the solution is to scan the known transponders manually. The channels I found didn't appear automatically in the channel list, so I had to creat a new folder - et voila!
