Installer is cheating ...

Sorry to bother you and open another thread - but the installer is really cheating!!!

I was installing ProgDVB and did NOT want to install IPTV and InternetTV, so I did NEITHER select IPTV, NOR internetTV/Radio/Youtube - I only selected my hardware adaptor - but both are installed and after installation is complete, both are NOT deselectable.

Sorry, this is cheating!!! If you do not want to install it, you do not select it, but you get it installed anyway EVEN IF YOU DID NOT SELECT IT, that's a real fraud ... :(

If you are not allowing the user to decide himself and install IPTV and InternetTV, even if he does NOT select it, why are you letting the user choose to select or not select?

As I have computers that are NOT connected to the internet, but use a TV-Card, it does not make sense to install IPTV and InternetTV, but the installer is forcing to install it. Why? Why are you considering it as mandatory to install that - even if it is neither requested nor used by the user?

Edit: just got that kind of error:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library - Runtime Error!
Program: C:/Program Files/ProgDVB/ProgDvbNet.exe
The application has requested the Runtime to terminate in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.

... and quite complicated to adapt the design for removing/hiding url line in case it is not installed ... OK, eaten ... ;) ... but in that case please do not let the user to choose or not to choose - if it installed anyway ... just install it and don't provide the checkboxes for it ... :)

Btw: did you ever think of selecting the channel list not by "subpages", but as a popup-menu? And I would prefer to have the channel list selection on top (an not on the bottom) of the channel list. But that's someting else ... :)
