Thanks SiLencer - done a bit of research on the site but things not totally clear for me :-(

So MCE remote is not an option.

I have a DVB-T USB tuner with remote, that can control BlazeDTV. I want however to use ProgDVB. Is there any way I can make this work?

If not, are there any other options?

It this remote is connectet via USB ..and if its shown in windows device manager as ´HID´ Device...then there is a chance that its emulates a keyboard and as it you can add some functions in progdvb menu: Settings->controls ...

Well, my USB DVB-T remote does not show as a HID, but as far as I know my MCE remote/reveiver do show as a HID.

I'll give this a try later when I get home from work and let you know how I get on....

Hi SiLencer, my MCE remote/receiver registers as a microsoft ehome infrared transiever HID device i device manager, so I may have some chance of getting this working - just need to find out what to do :-)

Also, this is on an XP machine - I want to also use ProgDVB on my Vista Ultimate 32bit nachine - what would be the best ProbDVB version for this?

Added my remote keys as keyboard keys as suggested, now I can control ProgDVB with my MCE remote/receiver - well, to a certain extention - got all the necessary functions mapped to different keys on the remote so happy days!!

Also got version 4.85.3 working on Vista Ultimate no probs.

Thanks again for your help :-)
