So, what exactly happens, if you try to teach that keys in correctly?
As what, keyboard controls or remote controls?
Are the keys detected then?
If so, with what names?
Do the adequate entries in controls.ini change?

Again, take care to not use any remote control key twice.

BTW, is your remote working over the DVB device, or do you use a Lirc solution, in any way?

... so where's the remote sensor connected to, technically? And does it appear in system control in any way, like as a HID?

So I might find out there about the concept of that one. The remote controls in ProgDVB are designed for PCI cards using the SAA7146 SS1 / premium card design, but I'm wondering if your card is one of those.

What exactly do you mean by this?
If pressing vol+, ch up happens?
if trying to teach in vol+, what's getting displayed in the dialogue?
Like 'VOL+' or 'CH+' or 'key_**'
What happens if pressed ch up?

This is about remote diagnosis of logics behaviour, precision required.
So, if I'm placing a question once, I need a precise and detailed answer exactly on that to proceed, not a general comment.

ProgDVB 5.x still is pre-beta state more or less, test version only.
Supposingly that component is not ready yet, on that .Net platform experiments.

However, you should think about simply answering instead of quoting the whole previous posting, as I do already know, what I've written just before...

The quote tag is only meant for pointing to short arguments out of a longer sequence or for takes of am older message and alike.

There's a 'post reply' button on the bottom of each thread...
