Bonjour,

J'ai un gros soucis d'affichage avec prodvb, une nexus-s et un écrans plasma samsung 107 cm.
En effet, après plusieurs tentative ou tout marche très bien, seul l'affichage en 16/09 ne veux pas se faire, même en bidouillant les graphs, etc... il se maintien un affichage en 4/3 (avec ou sans mode fullscreen).
quequ'un peut 'il m'aider??

Where is that plasma display connected to, the Nexus hardware TV out or your graphics card?

If it's the Nexus TV out, you have to set up the device options properly, stretch mode 'letterbox' and activate 'wide screen TV' if it is a widescreen indeed. Set 'software scaling' to active.

The DirectSow settings are for software mode and the computer screen resp. a TV on the VGA card's TV out only. They don't change the device options for hardware mode and output.
If using it this way, available options and their handling also depend on the codec in use, some settings may have to be made within the codec's properties.
Some codecs may have limitations, like not changing aspect ratio automatically, or not working well on each renderer.
Sometimes even the graphics cards driver may interfere with some overlay related settings, specially if having activated some hardware support from the codec..

Thank's a lot for your informations, i have to check and try some changes... My connection is directly by the connection out of the nexus-s, i have try sevearal changes as you refered, but without sucess.
My graphic card is the HD 2600 pro 512 (ATI), i know that the adjustement of the different codec can do something too, i will try agin but it's a realy strange situation...

the strange thing is wirth the original program of the NEXUS no problem with the 16/9

By the way, what driver version do you use for your Nexus?

The driver can possibly cause trouble on device options.
For modern ProgDVB versions you should either use the driver from Technotrend package 2.19 or 2.19h, if any possible.
And don't try 3rd party firmware, use the one tha't included with ProgDVB by default.

The hardware TV out of the Nexus does not make any use of codecs, at all.

Codec use, beneath all the other DirectShow and timeshift stuff, is for the picture through your graphics card only, if in software mode, or in semi hardware mode caused by the TT 2.19c beta KS driver (for PCI-e).

But if using the 2.19c beta KS driver, ProgDVB cannot handle the codec stuff, that's used for the PC screen even in hardware mode, if being used in that hardware mode. Then you have to make the settings either from SW mode or from the original software.

BTW, which ProgDVB versions did you try?
Keep in mind, the engine2 versions are still beta, the .NET / ProgDVB 5.x as well.

Think logical, this is computer stuff, even if using female like behaving Windows with all it's ups and downs...
