Greetings, I can't manage how do I force Prog to support HW decoding (QuickSync) for SD channels.

ProgDVB + H.264/AVC (video codec configured for QuickSync) -> HW decoding active
Other player + H.264/AVC (video codec configured for QuickSync) -> HW decoding active
ProgDVB + MPEG2 (video codec configured for QuickSync) -> HW decoding not used
Other player + MPEG2 (video codec configured for QuickSync) -> HW decoding active
ProgDVB + MPEG2 (video codec configured for CUVID) -> HW decoding active

The table shows that the not using HW decoding problem only appears in combination of ProgDVB with MPEG2 and QuickSync.
As proved by another video player QuickSync can actually decode MPEG2.
As video codec I'm using LAV filters which proves to work as expected everywhere except this case.

I'd appreciate an diagnostics (where QS is blocked)? Thanks

You can try change video renderer.

No other renderer seems to unlock HW decoding. Does EVR Custom Present have some advantages/disadvantages over Enhanced Video Renderr? I'm using EVR.

This process (hardware functions of video cards) depended only from video renderer and video codec. Not from software.
