I have a TBS 5925, I use PDVB pro version 7.08.

I am scanning sat 119.0°W and getting all channels that I am suppose to get, but some transponder are not getting scanned correctly and not getting the channel name, giving a default name of (eg TV Channel ###).

In other words, the channel scan its not waiting enough time so PDVB its able to fully populate all the blanks, its not pulling the channel name and its automatically filling with the name prefix (TV Channel).

I ve seen this problem before on other DVB programs and its addressed by placing a larger timeout delay at the PAT, PMT, SDT and NIT during the scan process to allow sufficient time to download all the necessary campus.

I have checked all settings and searched this forum, I cant find such timeouts settings. I did try giving a larger value to (delay after setting transponder) from 5ms to 2000ms at scanner option without any success. Also tried deleting all channels and re-scanning several times.

Can someone point me into the right direction?

I have tried manually scanning individual problematic transponder already with same results.

What do you suggest I do with the packet lost value statistic?

File->Input traffic->Packet lost

I had to use a workaround. I had to go to each individual channel, go into channel properties and hit update.

Not fun to do, but it works.

No good. Can you record of transponder sample from bad transponder? Service->Pid recorder->All ts.
4-5 minutes.
