My ProgDVBService will not start up unless I edit the Registry (Windows 7) to include the full path to ProgDVBService.exe. This error in the Registry is re-introduced with each upgrade to a newer version of ProgDVB. Please, correct the error in the setup program!

Do you use last ProgDVB? try select other scheduler mode and select back "progdvb scheduler"

Yes, I do use the latest version 7.08.05. Same problem with 7.08.03. The setup program fails to write the path in Windows Registry. Therefore, I must manually edit the Registry entries.

Also, I choose ProgDVBService for recording. The other option Microsoft Scheduler is not possible, because ProgDVB is denied access to Microsoft Scheduler.

What value ProgDVB do?

Two positions in my Windows 7 Registry:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
SYSTEM
ControlSet001
Services
ProgDVB Service

And also under ControlSet002

In both positions the ImagePath has the incorrect DATA value: "ProgDVBService.exe"
The DATA value must be corrected to: "C:\Program Files\ProgDVB\ProgDVBService.exe"
