#1
Hi, I hope that this infos will help someone of you to successfull run progdvb in the new Vista OS.
After a lot of tries i successfully installed Progdvb in Vista in a full Aero environment:

.
You need nvviddec.ax you can find here: h**p://www.exs.it/public/nvviddec.zip (insert tt instead of **) download rename as nvviddec.ax and put it in ProgDvb/Filters folder and register it.
To register it if you don't know how to do, rightclick on an ampty space of Prodvb/Filters, choose new -> text document and write this line: regsvr nvviddec.ax and save as register.bat.
Double click the new created bat file, a Dos window will appear after register close the dos window.

At this point go to ProgDvb -> Settings -> Option -> Direct Show and select the video NVidia video decoder.
For audio leave "elecard audio codec".
All will work ok, but if you have some problem (you can have different hardware then mine) you always can temporary turn off Aero with a tool called "AeroSwitch" ,you can find googleing it.
If someone have some problems my email is sandroxg@yahoo.it but if you make all the steps writed here all will be OK.

My 2 cents

Thank you for the info but i've got a question,
To register it if you don't know how to do, rightclick on an ampty space of Prodvb/Filters, choose new -> text document and write this line: regsvr nvviddec.ax and save as register.bat.
i already have "register.bat" file and inside has this lines :
regsvr32 /s LC.dll
regsvr32 /s em2vd.ax
regsvr32 /s elaudec.ax
do i change to this :
regsvr32 /s LC.dll
regsvr32 /s em2vd.ax
regsvr32 /s elaudec.ax
regsvr32 /s nvviddec.ax
Thank you :!: :!:

Yes simply add regsvr32 or regsvr /s (/s stay for silent install) nvviddec.ax in one of the line of your .bat file.
Remember first to copy nvviddec.ax in that folder
