At the first time everything went really nice, everything worked, it detected channels...

Then, I uninstalled it in order to install another version and whenever I have my pinnacle connected and try to launch progdvb it crashes like this and I cant continue, when I launch the dvbprog with the pinnacle unplugged it works well (it launches and it says theres no bda device) but when i connect I cant launch it properly.


I have tried reinstalling drivers, resetting and everything...

Try again from the beginning, including the ProgDVB version that worked for you.

You don't have to uninstall ProgDVB, to install another one. Either install into a different folder, or in case of an update, into the same one (after having made a backup copy).
Just don't install codecs each time, reuse if possible..
This way, you don't have to redo scans and fav list(s) each time.
Though, channel lists aren't always compatible, specially on downgrading.
In such cases, the channel list editor may help saving lots of work.

The first version I installed was the 5 standard, then I uninstalled and installed the 5 pro, then it crashed with every version...

I have already tried it, it didnt work...

I have even tried coming back to a restauration point but it didnt work...

How is the device state in system control --> hardware ?

It says "Device cannot launch".


I think that I know where I did bad... I uninstalled progdvb while watching the DVB T (i mean i didnt close the program) so that maybe caused the pinnacle to badwork.

Maybe you have to start from the very beginning, this for.

Remove driver, remove hardware.
Reboot to safe mode, check the hardware entry is gone.
Reboot again.

(Move or rename driver / software package location, so Windows won't find it automatically, if already placed onto HDD.
Reboot once more.)

Start installing completely new, with all the pinnacle stuff.

If still niot working, use the uninstall routine of Pinnacle, reboot, try again.

OK, Ill try it but I chose not to install the pinnacle software because of what Ihave heard of it.

Installing does not mean to have to use afterwards.
But many original installers do know and use some specific tricks, like making built in registry entries, codec licensing, driver settings or alike.
