Hi Prog

1. When switching between channels with a different resolution on some channels i don't hear sound anymore (picture is good). When i close ProgDVB and start it again then that channel has now sound (if i switch to another channels and back then the same problem occurs again).

2. While recording from a channel the picture freezes for a while and then it plays normal and againt it freezes and so on.

I see theese problems on ProgDVB 5.13.2 and higher versions.

Try delete or rename empgpdmx.ax file in progdvb\filters

PS: What DVB card and what channels?

It's a Pinnacle PCTV 450e DVB-S USB

some channels at 42.0 West
for example channels on theese transponders:
11830 sr 6666
12717 sr 5925
and more...

P.S. i have deleted that file but now some channels don't have both pciture and sound only a black screen

Also when i try to play a recorded file in Windows Media Player the picture freezes and there is no sound

still no sound when switchin from this channel at 42.0 on transponder 11996 sr 26000 to another channel. This channel which i suggest caused all this problems has a resolution of 352 x 576 (width 352 height 576}. on previous versions of progdvb i coudn't watch this channel i saw only a black screen and no sound. On the newer version this channel has a good picture and sound but this costs that the other channels aren't working correct now which were working fine on previous versions .

P.S. When i close ProgDVB on one of the channels which have that sound problem and i start the program again the channel now has sound.

P.S. only on ProgDVB version 5.12.8 i think every channel was working fine. (but i don't have this version anymore)

It is ac3 sound? Please record 30-40seconds of channel to TS format and put on http/ftp.

yes it is AC3 sound.

there's no sound problem while playing the recorded files in Windows Media Player. so if i upload such file you will hear normal sound.
Only when watching the channel directly there is a sound problem. when i record it and i play it in Windows Media Player everything is ok.

try ac3filter for ac3 sound. ProgDVB not can use elecard audio codec for ac3.

when i select ac3filter i get this error message "Create filter error (audio decoder}" after i click ok button i hear sound but no picture (blackscreen)

Try install ac3filter again.

i have reinstalled ac3filter but i still get the same error message

it seems now i can use ac3filter for ac3 sound i'm now not getting any error message.

the problem now is that when i select another audio codec the channel has now sound but when i switch to another channel and i switch back, the channel again doen't have sound. so i have to change it again to another codec.

i have tried all available audio codecs but it seems there's a problem when switching from a channel which uses ac3filter to another channel which use for example elecard audio codec. otherwhise when switching from a channel which uses elecard audio codec to a channel which uses ac3filter there is no problem.

P.S. when i go to the options>Direct Show menu and i click to ok button without making any changes the channel has now sound but i have to do this every time when a channel doen't have sound

It work on my PC. Elecard audio codec.
