Cannot use fullscreen on dual display configuration

#1
Hello,
I have laptop in docking station where 2 displays via displayports are connected. Windows 10, Radeon WX 4150 graphic card, latest display drivers.
There is problem with ProgDVB app, it is not possible to put it into fullscreen - then there is just black screen, no sound - it stops playing and must be put back to window, closed and run again.
I tried all video renderer, but none of them works in fullscreen.
There is also one minor issue, when app window is moved to another display, it stops playing for several seconds, but then it is restored properly (almost). Unfortunately quite often the sound is lagging and app becomes unusable and must be closed and run again.

Would be please possible to check the multidisplay configuration? Or is there any workaround for this issue?
Thank you,

Hello,
actually in Options, Multiple Displays, Main display there is only one item "\\.\\DISPLAY1".
Physically both displays are exactly of the same type, both connected via displayport.
I tested it a bit more and it seems it is working properly on MAIN displays only. If window of ProgDVB is on main display and I double click on it to make it fullscreen, it works.
If it is on secondary display and I double click on it, it goes to fullscreen but there is just black screen, no sound. After next double click it goes back to window and sometimes if i wait about 10-60 seconds (yes simetimes it takes really a minute or more to restore), video is back (in window), but no sound - with "ProgDVB audio renderer". When I use "system" for audio output, sound is back but lagging a lot. The same behavior is when window of ProgDVB is moved from main display to secondary display - black screen for several seconds, no sound and I have to restart app - then it is open on secondary screen (last position) and works properly (except mentioned fullscreen).

Unfortunatelly as it could be expected, I use main display for apps and work and secondary display could be useful for TV sometimes :)

I use this configuration for one year and the behavior of the ProgDVB is still the same (a year old version and current latest version). I report it now because I started using the TV more often and it is annoying sometimes to not be able to make it playing in fullscreen on secondary display.

Thanks.

Hi I have a similar experience.

I too have only \\.\Display1 in Multiple displays options.
I think this maybe due to using 'hybrid graphics' where both external nvidia and internal intel hd graphics are activated on my PC.
I only experience problems when ProgDVB is on a secondary monitor, with:
  • Activating Fullscreen with double click, deactivation works fine
Using shortcuts on keyboard, for example; alt+D, back, forward, F, etc..
Sometimes splash screen misses the monitor
It seems like application don't know to position itself.
My workaround is to use right click and put the program in full screen.. When it is in FS shortcuts works fine and I can live with that workaround..

Using latest Win10 x64, ProgDVB 7.33.07
