first of all i really have to say sorry... i tried my best the last 2 days to get this card running with progdvb but unfortunatly it just does not work... i am really new to this theme so plz excuse my unimportant details i just dont know what sort of thing could be important to tell.
My System:
CPU: AMD X2 5200+EE
Mainboard: Asus M3A-H/HDMI
OS: Windows Vista Business 64Bit
BDA-Driver: The newest for this Card downloaded from www.terratec.com
My Story:
I would like to use ProgDvb as my tv-watching program to test wether my Alphacrypt light module is working with this program.
After setting up my system i installed the Dvb-c card with the send driver from the cd. afterwards i did an upgrade for the terratec home cinema and searched for the channels. after finding a lot of channels i was able to watch non-decrypted channels. So everything worked fine till this point.
after finding out that my cam is not working i tried to install progDvb to try another program.
How i tried to install ProgDvb and get it running:
I downloaded the 5.14.7 version of ProgDvb and installed it. after starting the software i tried to start the software by following the manual. but at the second point i was unable to continue (MainMenu->Settings->Device list) because my device list is empty.
after uninstalling the version 5 i tried version 4.90.7 which was able to find my card but still not able to search for any channels.
i tried to install winampTV which as i read in some forum should be able to do some crazy stuff so ProgDVB would work correctly. unfortunatly i was able to find ANY channel though i found some (i hope working) list for Dvb-c channels.
I really have no idea what went wrong there or where i should start searching for the problem... i already uninstalled my complete card and tried again to install the latest drivers and start progDVB but it still did not work. is there any way of getting progdvb working with my DVB-C card?
thank u a lot for ur time and will to read this long post.
best wishes erik

cool now i can find my dvb-c card in the device list. thx alot!!!
but now its the same as in the 4.xx version i had be4... in properties i can chose between the card types. after choosing terratec as my card type i start a blind search (channel list -> blind search) for the frequencys from 350 to 450 mhz in steps of 1 mhz under the symbol rate of 6850 and 6900 and with a not defined modulation but i still cant find a single tv channel...
sorry that i am causing so much trouble but i really dont know what to do...

I have the same problem with my TerraTec Cinergy C DVB-C card.
The only difference is that I run Windows Vista Premium 64bit.
Version of ProgDVB I'm trying to get to work is 5.14.07.
Has anyone got this combination to work?
PS: The Terratec software for watching TV seems to work fine, so the card should be OK I think..
