Should not, as either you won't record anything, then resulting in a zero byte file, or you would record scrambled streams, that won't play later on.
Decryption at playback time is not implemented with common DVB applications, as the necessary keys are subject to changes at any time.
So any new ones are not supposed to work at file playback time. This for, there's not even an existing interface in any legal software, to decrypt during playback.
Keys used would else theoretically have to be stored along with the file, but as you may know, they aren't available for storage (nor even display) in any legal way.
So you should be able to find a difference this way.
Decryption working gives a working recording, even if your video codec does not work in ProgDVB.
You can also disable MPEG2 decoding and still record well, as long as the decryption is OK.
