Just an idea:
If some well known special plugin was used before, it may not be enough, to simply deactivate it. If written badly, it may even then reside in memory and keep on running in the background, somehow. By this it may even stay up, if another ProgDVB installation is used.
This for, reboot the machine afterwards.

Hi Prog,
I just did what you asked. Installed version 4.88.6[2.22/standard ed] and the following is noticed:
- memory usage correct
- Video does hang when e.g. format of transmission is changed (advertisements on e.g. sky news)
I'll elaborate a bit further on the 5 version:
- Quite often it will stop the video on certain channels while audio is still heard.
- memory leak.

What codec(s) / graph / renderer do you use?
BTW, perhaps (all of you) put relevant details into your profile --> signature

So, to all of you now:
Please give all relevant details, as we told already.
And please put them into your signatures.
This will also show up in all your older postings.
So we don't have to ask the same questions or case reread everyone's old postings (if any existing) over and over again...
That's what signatures are meant for...
Plus, if available for you, test and compare with another codec.
And try the latest version(s), as possibly your bug may already be fixed there.
Let us know, to help us helping you...

Ok sig changed.
Latest version 5.12.06.
I tried vmr9 and progdvb renderer. It has no effect on the memory. Usage is still increasing.
OSD on or off has no effect.
In windowed mode the memory usage is stabilized.
I use elecard mpeg2 decoder version 1.0.215(build 60621) state Activate, progdvb.
Do you need more info? Just ask.
