Hi,
I have got the same problem. Until yesterday I used ProgDVB 4.56. Everything was okay. Now I updated on 5.12.7 and when I am listening to the radio, the memory increases every second 1-2 MB until the program crashes. When I minimize the ProgDVB window and restore it, the memory usage drops to 10 mb and increases again 1-2 MB per second. Thats a way to run progdvb but not very comfortable! I deactiviated timeshift on installation. But there is no problem when I am watching TV. The memory problem only occurs when I am listening to the radio. I also tried 5.09.2 but the problem remains the same. With version 4.88.7 there is no memory problem but after 5-10 minutes the prog crashes and I don't know why. Only 4.56 is running without a problem.
I own a Skystar 2 PCI, I tried different graphs and renderer but that does not affect the problem. I have no plugins installed and I am using skystar driver 4.4.0 on Windows XP SP2.

Any progress with resolving the memory issue yet guys? I'm using another DVB software at the moment but I much prefer ProgDVB and can't wait to get back to it.

Hello!
I've the same problem with ProgDVB 5.12.10 acting as Media server/client.
My PC has a WinTV Nexus-S (software mode) and I've installed ProgDVB ONLY with the server module.
My laptop uses the "Client - change on Server"-Device, nothing else, too.
On both machines the memory leak shows up. The tips given here don't help, except minimizing/restoring the programm window.
But nevertheless: It's a fine programm!

Prog, I've just downloaded the latest version and it appears that the memory leak problem has been fixed. Well done!!!
Thanks.
Thanks.

I had that memory leak today - I was watching tv in he background in a window. I then had it on full screen for a while but when I came back to my pc, it was very sluggish. I noticed I had 6MB free out of 1,5GB and my Page File usage was up to 1.4GB!
I installed 5.13 last night although in About, it is showing as v 5.12.10.
is this correct, the about page has not been updated in v5.13? If so, I am definitely on 5.13 and the memory leak still exists.

Unfortunately the issue remains with this newer 5.13 version which I have just downloaded again.
I have linked to a screen shot showing the version and the task manager - ProgDVB is using 475MB after about 9 minutes of tv viewing.
I have noticed if I minimise ProgDVB, the memory usage drops back down to about 15MB and then starts to increase again about 1MB per second regardless if I leave it minimised or restore the window again.

Timeshift is 200mb in memory and no plugins. I don't think it is timeshift because timeshift should still work when you minimise ProgDVB and the memory goes back down to 15MB when minimised although it then starts to creep up again even when still minimised.
I'll download the test version you sent me and try that later on today - I need to go out just now....

Good news Prog, that test version doesn't have the memory leak for me!
It increases in memory at a slower rate up to 369MB and then stays stead at that. It has now run for 30 minutes without increasing past 269MB. I have the timeshift set to 200MB in memory so that all sounds like what I would expect.
