cold reboot didn't help
all modules disabled

If I click on a tv station in ProgDVB it shows for ~1 second the picture of the station and than it closes.

Ideas?

I have the same problem, I have installed the KB896626 patch.
I am running the Twinhan Mantis card...

I have 2 dishes, one for 28.5e sky and the other for 23.5e Euro1080.
If I am using my 23.5e dish all is PERFECT!!
If I am using my sky dish 28.5e after a few seconds Prog DVB crashes.

I have used all versions of prog dvb including the beta and always the same result.

But I have re tested the situation and every time I use my Sky dish it crashes.

1GB INTEL CELERON 3GHZ - ASROCK PV88+ - Am upgrading to pentium 4 3.2ghz next week...

Are you sure this really is a crash?
Do you get any error mesage?
If so, please post, as we don't have second sight...
If not, and it just seems to freeze, you may suffer from general DiSEqC switching trouble.
Deactivate option 'refresh channel if lost signal', then ProgDVB won't try to tune again and again, slowing down the system heavily by this.

BTW, when tuning to 28E (is it first or second LNB?), do you get signal (Q / L ?), EPF / 'what's now', sound and vision, before that 'crash' happens?
What device are you using?
What ProgDVB version, codecs, ... ?

Same by me. I'm using ProgDVB 4.80.1 and it works almost perfectly. Then I tryed the new 5.11.7 version and it crashes sometimes when i'm switching the channel.

I installed teh windows patch, restarted the computer, but the same story...

I'm using skystar2 with 4.41 drivers, windows XP Professional SP2, my computer is an AMD Athlon X64 3,0GHz with 2 Gb RAM and ATI Radeon 9600 Graphic card.

I don't know what to do get the newer version working. Are there more windows patches, or something?

I don't know what went wrong, but since the version 4.80.1 every newer version crashes sometimes when i change channells. Due to some same other user problems i suggest a progdvb version with the old engine (4.80.1 or older), but with the new functions.

I put the filtegraphs of the latest proffessional version into the old 4.80.1 library. so i can watch AC3. I have now fully working ProgDVB version.

I'm only missing the change skin possibilities of the 5.0 versions.

when i try to watch crypted stations like (mangas ) at hotbird 13E the progdvb crash
i use twinhan 1027

I am not understanding the meaning of that posting.
If you want to post a screenshot, just upload it somewhere and place a link.
There is no need to play around with image tags.
And you can't place attachments here.

I have the same problem: WinXP SP2 German, installed this KB patch, tried ProgDVB 4.85 and 4.83, but with both the same problem: Once a channel is running, it works fine (never crashes or locks up) but sometimes when I change channels, ProgDVB just suddenly exits immediately, no error mesage. Sometimes I can change channels 5 or 10 times before is exits, sometimes it happens on the very first channelchange after restarting DVB. There seems to be no relationship to which channel is used. I have S2EMU installed but even if its disabled, and I only switch to free channels, it still exits.

With ProgDVB 4.72.5 everything works fine, even using s2emu.

got exactly the same problem. using vplug/s2emu w and w/o enabled.
