Hi,

I use SageTV as my main PVR. Currently its support for DVB-S is not great. However, it is very flexible - it has a simple IP based API to allow it to communicate with other programs on the basis of those other programs being able to accept a station number and a file path to record to.

I'm wondering if there is already a way to do this, or if it sounds like something it would be relatively simple to do via a module or plug-in? Is there a tutorial on writing modules/plug-ins?
