ProgDVB 5.12.6 with 0 quality signal with Anysee 30E C plus

I just bought an Anysee 30E C plus cable box which comes with a nervous wrecking software Anysee viewer. With that everything seems to work reasonably good, all locked channels (7 day trial period) tune well, but time programming part is one of the worst that I ever have seen. It is also far form reliable. Channels get mixed and recording will not start at all.

I installed ProgDVB and I have tried to put following settings to tune channels manually and level indicator varies between 60-100% around certain channels, but quality indicator remains canstantly at zero level. What could be the problem??

Channels exist between 140-500 MHz
Symbolrate 6875 (I tried your 68750 - is there a typing error in the settings table ??)
QAM 128

PC Scaleo AMD 3200+, 1,81 GHz, XP SP2
GeForce 7600 GT

Should your SW support these settings? Operator is in Finland, DNA Lohja.

May well be.

But generally, values are only good together with units.
This should be ksps (kilo symbols per second).

In Europe, a cable TV channel is either 7 or 8 MHz wide, by this a data rate of 68750 ksps (< 68 million bits per second) simply can't be done.
That's even to much for most satellite transponders, which are up to about 30 MHz wide these days.
Special modulation methodes like QAM* or *PSK give more than one bit per Hz of bandwidth, but redundancy for error correction reduces again, to approximately 1 bit per Hz, in most cases.

However, as long as it lists resp. accepts the values and parameters without complaining, ProgDVB should be able to handle them.
But drivers and hardware have to cooperate, of course...

0-level quality despite signal quality acceptable

Thanks for quick response!

My problem is still 0-level quality despite signal level is acceptable ( varies around stations 80-100%). What should be the correct sequence to install ProgDVB? I would not to like start from scratch (formatting disk, installing XP etc.) My Scaleo still has a Pinnacle PCI card with PCTV 310i Media Center which I have disabled in Device manager - should I have to remove this card totally and devices?? I also have installed Anysee drivers and Viewer before ProgDVB which I have uninstalled later and re-installed only drivers. Pinnacle card has worked without flaws for 3 years(factory installed), but as it cannot support digital Cable-receiving I have to remove it before February when the analog service will be terminated in Finland.

So what could be the reason for this 0-level and howcome with Anysee I can see all the channels ok???

:?:
1. Should I remove Pinnacle Card and MediaCenter sw?
2. Could these two receivers Pinnacle/Anysee work at the same time?
3. Correct sequence to install devices and sw

Thank You!

1.) not a known issue, but perhaps...
Maybe you should physically remove the analog tuner hardware temprarily for testing.

2.) same, not a known issue

3.) to get started, install original drivers and software, set it up completely, test
If OK, stop the original software and a possible autostart for a data application, reboot
Check the state of the device in system control --> hardware
Install ProgDVB

That's the standard procedure.

I don't have any of your devices to play with, so this is just theory.

BTW, regarding the data rate, try a slightly different value, like 6900.
There have been some issues recently on some german cable providers, with technical reasons.
