Hi to all!

I have a problem with my new pc: progdvb and my Kword card doesn't like one another.
When i go to Device List i can't find the Kword entry in the list
I have used progdvb with the same card, but with the old pc that went broken...the card isn't broken because i tried to use it to capture analog stream and it is ok...

I try to search the file Kword.device in the modules directory of progdvb root directory but the file is present, i tryed different version of progdvb but all of these give me the same problem

What can i do?

My pc configuration is:
-Win xp prof sp2
-cpu: intel quad q6600
-4gb ram
-asus p5k ( chipset p35 )

BTW, that hardware should have a full name...

Does the original application work?

Try to remember what you had to do, before getting it to work with ProgDVB for the first time.

Does it use BDA or standard drivers?

You can try BDA module also.

I tryed with the BDA module, but progdvb trow an exception or something like this...

Look into system control, hardware

Excuse me! i didn't see your post but only the other one.
The original application of the card in dvbs but it works...

i used standard driver of the card, the same that works with the old pc....

is the card broken?

Well, if the original application works fine (for DVB), the hardware should be OK.

So use our search function (again) on kworld, maybe you find some more hints.
