I need to use progdvb program like pvr
All work fine i donr have any problems with record and creating files
I have another problem, when i try to open mpeg2 recorded file with GV EDIUS. Soft cant recognize the file like good mpeg.Mpeg is brocken for this soft.Once if i convert it with main concept encoder i can use it in edius but this take for me many time.

If i make any mistake with using progdvb please help me.
i have installed many registered codecs and try many combination of settings in progdvb.

i use skystar2 sat card,PC is with 2 xeon 3.06ghz 3gb ram 1TB Hdds windows XP pro fully updated. dont have installed antivirus because he make mashine slower.

Pleas if any one have any idea i am ready to try it.

Don't recompress your files, just try to let them run through PVAStrumento.

Yes in this case work fine but this take many time who i dont have for this job.

PVAStrumento does NOT need much time, as it just reorganizes packets and timecode. It does not change anything within the audio or video streams, and it does not touch the compression. Less than a minute for a 2 GB file over here.

Results normally are even perfect for DVD or Windows Media Player, though both are not meant to play DVB recordings of any kind (properly).
One reason is, time code will not start at zero. Another one, data rate details in file headers MUST be wrong, as it's not possible to predict them when recording variable bitrate transmissions. This for, providers like to place far to high values there. And many uplink multiplexors also allow to drop data at high total transponder load, then also leading to false values for data frames. Such false data inside of recordings are highly supposed to irritate normal media players, and PVAS does nothing else but correcting those, if any possible.
