Cache overflow ProgDVB 6

Hi,

I have a problem with ProgDVB6:
After a while of watching TV the sound and image suddenly stop for some seconds (or slow down). This leads to mixing up sound and image, so that they don't fit to each other anymore.

Everytime this happens the number next to "Cache overflow" increases, and sound and image stay mixed up until I restart the channel.

I have already set the cache to 9000KB, but it doesn't fix the problem.

If I disable the video buffer, the problem is solved, but i need the timeshift feature.
ProgDVB 5.16.2 works perfectly, but i'd more like to use the newer version of ProgDVB.. :(

Can anyone help me?

Thanks in advance,
Julian

What device you use?

the TV card I use is "Skystar HD" from Technisat, but in the device list of ProgDVb it's listed as "{BDA} TechnoTrend BDA/DVB-S Tuner"

try start ProgDVB with /Debug key.
Also disable all modules in plugins.

This is normal ...because the technisat skystar HD (not the skystar HD 2) is a clone of the technotrend TT S 2 3200 ;)

I disabled all modules and plugins, but still the same.
And whats about this Debug key, I don't understand what to do. :?

THe weird thing is that all ProgDVB 5 versions worked perfectly, but all ProgDVB 6 versions had this error all the time. what's the main difference between 5 and 6? could this cause the trouble?

Many changes in 6.x but you can try disable Audio processor in audio settings at first.

thanks.
after disabling audio processor the error still happens (it looks like when you lose the video signal), but at least audio and video remain synchronous after the cache overflow.

I'll try now to set the cache a bit higher and see what happens.
