Bad quality video on ProgDVB

Hello ,

can someone tell me why i have bad quality video on Channel using ProgDVB?
i have 1 GB Nvidia Graphic Card

i'am using now progDVB 6.05.02 Standart Edition + Compro VideoMate S300

my question is that relation with codec or with Full paid ProgDVB version

It is total not depended from ProgDVB and ProgDVB version. But other codec and render can help. For example CyberLink + EVR for best quality.

does progDVB pro Version include those codec
cause i wanna buy Pro Version specially for Quality cause i'am really getting headeache when i move from my pc to receiver

or could you please link me the CyberLink + EVR to download ?

No, ProgDVB not include any codecs. EVR you can select in Settings->Options->Video

Remember when you want to use the EVR Video mode with windows XP you need to install the NETframework 3.5/SP1 packages.

For me the standard Overlay Video Renderer (OSD not Supported) gives the best result.
Unfortunately this Video mode is still broken in the last versions of ProgDVB. :(

EVR+CyberLink (with DXVA) is best quality.

And ´CyberLink´ is Part of the cyberlink powerdvd Player ...just install the Trial ...and you have the codec in your system...and you can use it in progdvb ...even...when the trial period of the player is over...

Hi Thanks ,

i did installed CyberLink PowerDVD 9 but when i go settings option video i dont see that coded on the combobox for list choice ?

how i can enable it ?

Try this one : download

Its version 8.0.2217.0

in version 9 other apps then powerdvd itself are blocked to use the cyberlink codec

Hello bro ,

after i installed your version & when i go to render i dont find the cyberlink codec look here on this pic what i have

first pic is when i click on render option
second pic is when i click on MPEG-2 option

as you can see i dont get the codec on render option which change the quality ...
