Hi Prog,


i would really thank for your effor Prog , but as i love Progdvb i want it to be the best & stable
by the way i code on .NET so i understand in real what is ..

here you a list of bug ,


1-sometimes when you move to some channel it raise exception alone..
(i dont know the origine of that but it has a lot of on Jazeera & Sky channel) so better when you move to a new channel remove the messagebox raising the exception

2-Record Part is really buggy

2-a: when you change resolution on Record setting for height & width
instead wen you change the textbox value of height you made mistake with the textbox of width value

2-b:when i made get default back on record tab
now i cant record ? how simply the pic speak it self , the size still 0 mb.. 2-c before when it was recording there is a problem on time recording , it only record after 8 second when you clicked

3-Satellite Channel

3-a) a really problem on this when searching a new channel
sometimes some channel dispear while searching not all of them got scanned

4-i got back to the version 6.05.02 cause in real the new version gui is bad i talk about each channel icon in the right ..

Question : how i can make my own Skin ?

ps: You can make you skin in SkinEditor. In same directory with ProgDVB.

with version 6.22, and dvb use only:
- channels disapear from a satellite channel list ( guess it's something with the "can update" option in channel properties);
-audio disapears when changing channels, that is very bad with AAC audio, but wil happen with mpeg audio too;
-AAC audio delayed to video in live mode, but ok with a recorded video;
-Microsoft demux is not ok with audio;
-directsound audio option dont work, only wave audio;
-the screen saver is not disabled by progdvb;
-instability when changing channels, often crashes Windows, have to reboot machine (the stability mode is useless)
Tested in 2 diferent machines, diferent DVB card, windows XP, same result on both.
We are in hope of a basic (DVB receiver) stable version only.

It is looks like some problem with sound card. try other audio codec.

Prog can you tell me if those bug exist on standart version only or also Pro one ?

In ProgDVB Pro sync. work total same way. It depended from Demux, audio codec, audio render and SB driver.

Tested the version 6.22.1, and no problems when changing channels, much better stability. The channels lists seem ok too.
The audio problem keeps nearly the same, always delays in AAC, some muting when changing channels, but seems less than in the 6.22. The default directsound audio render is working now,but not ok yet, unistable.
Will keep testing.

As i have the audio delay that make simple tv watching impossible in the last versions, i tried with old ones. The version 6.05.02 with the folder "Modules" copyed from the last version (6.23) works well with the AAC audio and is very stable when changin channels. The diseqc 1.0 works ok, I don´t know if the 1.1 will work, that was a long lasting bug with Progdvb, it made me abandon the 1.1 switch. Recording seems ok too. Remote is ok.
Maybe can we find a good old version, with less bugs and ask Prog to debug it to make a stable version?
