hello, im having some problems with the quality strenght of some channels.
2 days ago i installed progdvb 6.45.3 std, added a LNB, selected the astra 19.3e
preset and all worked wonderfully well. wanted to watch the HD channels aswell
so i bought the pro version.
after instaling the pro version however some channels, mainly the one i want to watch,
dont work anymore, i have a 100% link but a 0% quality

allready installed the std
version again, but now the channels dont work there either. however these channels do
work under windows media center.
im using a hauppauge hvr-4000 on windows 7, had one plugin installed named hadu for
my dreambox, also worked fine on the first install doesn't work now either.
has anyone had this problem before and might have an anwser to what could be wrong and
how to solve it ? any help would be most appriciated

Is it same problem for all transponders? Try scan transponder dialog for test

DVB-S2 requires bigger antenna and very good alingment. Sometimes many DVB-S can be watched, no S2, but adjusting antenna will.

its not the same for all transponders some work some dont, did a scan as you asked me to do, ive attached the results to this post.
i pretty sure its not a alignment problem of my dish, and its a big dish. the channels are working
under mce and i can watch hd channels in progdvb on the transponders that work.
thank you very much for the help.

Please try to find out, if there's anything systematic behind transponders not working for you.
12574 H 22000 on Astra 19.2°E is nothing spectacular, normal DVB-S.
There must be some reason, of course.
Like for example, some terrestrial service interfering around 12574 - 10600 = 1974 MHz.
Do you have a mobile phone station very close to your place, or maybe a TV tower?
What's your location?
Anyway, look after the neighbour transponders,
12545 H 22000 (sat.1/ProSieben) - often effected by DECT or e-net cellular phones
12552 V 22000 (BFMTV and more)
12604 H 22000 (sky news and some WDR regionals)
Let us know on quality there.
If so, always 100% Level readings are supposed to be meaningless, perhaps due to driver limitations.
So only Quality seems to matter for you.

I'm i bit confused atm, i did what you said, and suddenly all is working fine again, i didn't check if
the chanels worked before scanning the transponders, so im not sure if thats the reason for them to start
working again but thats what i did, went to the transponder that worked all the time, pressed the
lock button and started the scan, then i selected the transponders you've asked for and after a while
he found some channels on them. as said, all channels are working again..
cant imagen the problem having to do with interference tho, as said in my previous posts, the channels
that didnt work under progdvb, where working under windows media center and wintv 7 at that moment.
im trying to recreate the problem atm as i want to see if locking on a working transponder, scaning it,
then selecting the none working transponder and scan that one in the hope it starts working again.
in any case, thank you all very much for your help, i will post my results if im able to recreate the
problem.

still having problems, seems whole transponders stop working at random, atleast it looks that way.
found out something new tho, if Arte or any channel on the same transponder doesn't work, i start
WinTV 7 and open Arte in there or any channel on that transponder and it works. Now if i close WinTV
and start ProgDVB, now Arte does work, only problem thn, is that BVN or ay channel on that transponder
has stopped working. if i repeat the same thing again, open wintv, switch to bvn, close wintv, start progdvb, and BVN works agai under progdvb, but now Arte stopped working again.
Hopefully this information can help in finding out what the problem might be..

Tuning is always done by transponder, like transmissions are.
So tuning trouble will always effect whole transponders.
However, still we don't have anything concrete, to get closer to the source of your problem
At the moment, there's one idea for a possible problem, 22kHz signal for HighBand may fail to switch on or off.
If this does not happen on another DVB software, this may perhaps be related with communication trouble between ProgDVB device and the hardware driver.
But may as well be, your value for LOF1 or LOF 2 may need a small correction, to push precisely to the transponder center frequency. It's possible, one DVB application knows to control the AFC procedure or your tujner better than the other, once giving a good lock, otherwise failing to tune in precisely.
Perhaps try to detune one or two HighBand transponders manually in 1 MHz steps up and down, to find an eventual offset between nominal transponder frequency and middle of the tuning hold range. If you can find an offset this way, don't store, but correct LOF2 for the amount found, but into the opposite direction.
Same may be necessary for LowBand / LOF1.
