I have a TechniSat SkyStar S2 (Art: 4103/3734) which works with the SD version of progdvb.

I've just installed the Pro version into a new folder and activated it but it only allows me to set up the DiSEqC (a 4x1 switch) but when I try to access any channels SD or HD I get an exception.

Progdvb recognizes it as: (WDM) Skystar S2 TV PCI on both the SD and HD version.

I should say that the S2 works on SD and HD FTA channels using the s/w that came with the product so it is not a h/w problem.

BTW the Settings > Device options doesn't allow any further option (I read another thread about changing that). I guess I could get around that by editing the .ini file when it is not running.

it is depended from OSD skin? What OS?

Windows XP.

This is a temporary problem. Skineditor seriously reworked. So far, use the earlier version.

I went into progdvb.ini and set

[OSD]
Enabled=0

That has got me started with 6.49.05

now I can re-scan Sats etc.

I will watch out for a later version with a fix.

there is no need to manually edit the file. u can uncheck some panel in options-osd and determine fail one
