Hi guys , i have both a skystar2 hd ci usb + Cablestar Combo Hd Ci usb

now the problem is they cant just live together .

If they r both connected i get a black screen on both devices.

If i disconect one of the 2 , the one connected works great as it should.

It's a 100 % prog dvb problem ( and its so bad sucking hardware support i must add)

because when i use dvb viewer pro they work great nothing to disconnect......

It also does not seem to support the ci of the cablestar nor the wintv-ci ( hauppage).

I dont think they gonna fix this problems anytime soon .

If you guys have any idea to make the 2 recievers work together i ll thank you but honestly i m hopeless.

It a Shame for a program which costs almost 3 times Dvb viewr pro.

So i m problably deleting Progdvb for good this time .

Im simply tired of it and its non existent hardware support.

Quick solutions is Settings->Device options->Not start more device at once.

But your devices must working at once also...

Thank You , but i already tried that .

Didnt work the only way i have to make one reciever work its phisically disconnet 1 of the 2 recievers .

Its clearly a progdvb issue not being able to make both recievers work together.

And anyway technisat its being around for ages so its not admissible it doesnt support the ci .

Again i repeat progdvb its a piece of crap due to its lack of hardware support,

And its a shame cos it wouldnt have been one of the best software around otherwise.

The issue is progdvb which cant make the 2 recieve work togheter .

If i desconnect either of them all works fine................

Yes, of course problem in ProgDVB. But I need some idea why. I have USB 2 HD CI device in my collection. Really this is azurewave and very good driver without any problems in ProgDVB. But I am not have cablestar combo and not can test they both.

1. try enable azurewave mode for both
2. Check Settings->Options->Debugs->Logs and send me all files from Logs directory if still problem.

Didi it , no go

For prog dvb the 2 recievers simply cant live together .

Its not a driver issue , or else other programs would not work either.

Instead dvbview handles them both together with no problem whatsoever.

Actually i have gone even further dvbviewer even handles the 2 ci interfaces embended in the reciever plus a ci reader usb altogether.

They invented BDA architecture for a reason , the programs which follow the standard as they are supposed to have no problems hadling all the recievers they should at once .

Every manufacture have self BDA...

ps: CI and diseq is not part of BDA.
