Re: ProgDVB Channels Editor
#4Win8 capable? Just got a BSOD under W8/32 at first install-attempt (second was successful) and always get unhandled exception error at import – and then it lasts for ever for not really importing channels ... :/
Re: ProgDVB Channels Editor
#5Do you have .net 3.5 installed (off by default in Win8)? im using win8 too atm and editor works ok.
Anyways, will post updated version with new installer (using free version of InstallShield now) in 1-2 weeks (kinda busy atm).

Re: ProgDVB Channels Editor
#8But better (also) give a hint. I usually want to install .NET (and other similar things) separately and not in between any other installation. And as described in another post here I had the problem that .NET was installed but not recognised as such.
Re: ProgDVB Channels Editor
#10Hmm – again (but with different PC running XP): error when reading channels.dat-file (big data file!); unhandled exception occurred ... :/ ... (an attempt to read or write protected memory) ... when continuing (and ignoring the error), nothing more happens, it stays at "reading channels". After quitting and restarting, the channels are there ...
Re: ProgDVB Channels Editor
#11Strange... will add more checking and diagnostic messages to next version.
Re: ProgDVB Channels Editor
#12Hmm ... where the hell does that app take the channel list take from? On the right side is shown my DVB-C-Tuner-Card, but in the lis is a bunch of channels that are not found in our cable here ...
Re: ProgDVB Channels Editor
#13May be you had another tv source before? ProgDVB never really deleting channels from base, even if you delete some tv sources.
My program just parsing channels.dat and tree files to access database and exporting it back after editing.

#14Posted new version installer, now editor using .NET 4.0 framework instead of 3.5. Fixed some little bugs, added 'Clear all numbers' button.
Old version installer still availiable too.
