Hi,

my TT card is connected to two LNB's: astra and hotbird using 4/1 diseqc switch. It all works fine when hardware mode is selected but as soon as I switch to software mode it is not possible to switch to hotbird only astra channels work. After switching back to HW mode hotbird channel are working fine again. Is it possible to use DISEQC in software mode and if so how ?
I'm using prog version 4.82.

Well, this seems to be quite an old bug, meanwhile.

I don't use / test SW mode on my old machine, normally.

But now I did, and DiSEqC did not even work back to 4.7x then.

But does work on 4.62.4, f.e.

All w9x versions here, of course.


BTW, perhaps play with the 'distinguish by' settings.

Thanks a lot! After switching to LNB DISEqC started to work. Normally I wouldn't bother about software mode but I can not get EPG screen in HW mode and in SW mode it works quite nicely (not to mention that OSD in HW is ugly compared to the one in SW mode).
