Hey.

I like to watch TV on my second monitor while surfing or playing a game at the main monitor. As long as im not playing a game, everything works fine. But as soon as i start a game, the video playback on the 2nd monitor (ProgDVB) stops, but the sound still continue to work.

Does anyone have an idea how i can fix that? My GPU is a ATI Radeon HD 5800. The Main Monitor is connected via DVI, the second one via VGA.

Try change video renderer.

ps: 2 active application is not easy for video card.

I changed the video renderer, but that didnt change anything.

BUT, I figured one thing out: When i start the game and after that switch via ALT+TAB out of the game, i can simple "restart" the tv station by clicking on it. After that it works and i can play and watch tv the same time. As long as im NOT quitting the game. When i do that, i have to do the same procedure again, otherwise the video playback stops.

Any other suggestions?

Also you can try video codec without DXVA. like elecard.
