Goodevening,

Installed prog version 6.61.1 pro on my xp pentium 4 system, but on the hd channels i get freezes and black screen, on the sd channels all seems ok.

using ffdshow for codec maybe other is better or fixing this problem.


Maybe someone can help

Please send me ProgDVBEngine.log after this. (Settings->Options->Debug->Enable logs)

Thanks for your answer, have installed as described but still some freezes on hd channels,

Think i have to upgrade my videocard as it is under 512 Mb, [ if i have a look for the minimum requirements for Progdvb ]

Will post when i have installed it...

Please send me logs after codecs installed. In last time problem in ProgDVB settings (not in video card!)

I changed to dvxa in ffd show, still freezes and blocks, also did not upgrade my videocard at the moment.

Maybe someone can have a look whats wrong,

Check File->Input traffic->Packet lost. and what CPU load?

please test check on dxva in the File->DirectSh->Video decoder H.264/AVC->Properties with Cyberlink video codec.

Upgraded videocard to 1Gb still the same problem freezes and blocks on hd / sd still ok.

Also tryed other codec pack but no solution aswell, still high 50 - 100 % cpu load on hd +/- 35 % on sd channels.

Also very long [ about 10 - 15 seconds zap time ]

Try last version of ProgDVB. Looks like some problem with input traffic (signal too low?)

Ok, thanks for al the help, tryed also with the original [technotrend viewer ] still the same problem.

So i will try other [dual core] instead of pentium 4 3.2 ghz system, think processor power is on the low side.
