What is the best setting to have good picture & recordin

Hi
i wanna to know the best setting for codecs and graphs to have the quality in witching my channels
i need to know what is the necessary codecs and what setting i set my progdvb latest version 5.04.1

There is no
best setting.....for all....
This depends the video card,kind of screen etc....
I use this :
P4,3.2 GHz,2 MB Cache,800 MHz FSB,2048 MB DDR-RAM,19 inch TFT at 1280x1024 at 75 Hz,WinXP PRO SP2 + DX 9 c,320 GB HD,GeForce 6800 GT,500 GB ext. HD,Nova-T USB Stick,Skystar 2 (Driver 4.40)+ Hauppauge DVB-C Rev. 2.2(Driver 2.17g)with Alphacrypt 2.03 CA Module

I have
P4,2.6 GHz,1 MB Cache,512 MB DDR-RAM,17 inch at 1024x768 at 75 Hz,WinXP MCE SP2 + DX 9 c,200 GB HD,GeForce 5200 XFX 256 MB,Twinhan Star Box II
is there any setting you recommending me to use
and what is the codecs that i need to install ???
do you advise me to setup Microsoft update foe sat cards

Sorry , but everybody have to try what whats the best for him...
Good results i have with ffdshow,Elecard,Cyberlink powerdvd 6,ac3filter and Moonlight Odio Decoda ...

p.s. used codecs and graphs have no effect on the quality of the recorded material...stream is saved at it comes from the sky ...
