I Have just installed my new Optoma HD81 full HD projector that works on 1920 1080 p. I have connected it with my new Htpc and run progdvb. I have installed ellcard edition with ellecard avc plugin. With progdvb renderer the HD S2 and S image is exelent with no lost frames. With all other like Dx9 and XP renderers image seems to loose frames. The problem is that when I pass progdvb window from the monitor to the projector screen the place of the video image is blank black but all other are normal. This does not hapen with all other renderers but image cannot be seen because off low frame rate!

Just theory, as I don't possess any of your hardware...
..but you should check the properties of your codec(s).
F.e., perhaps it tries to use overlay or some hardware accelleration (only over that renderer, as it seems). And on some VGA cards, there's no overlay on secondary monitors, hardware limitation.

For some similar issues on my old machine, I've had my system manipulated, by default just inverting the secondary and primary port in driver controls. Did not mean a thing, if just one connected, but if both ports loaded, the secondary used overlay. Radeon 7200/VE, true dual head, but just one overlay...

Just went back to default recently, as I don't need the Radeon TV out anymore, plus, all Linux LiveCDs I have did not find a working x-server if secondary port used alone.

Well, this all won't lead to a solution for you directly, but perhaps it may let you get an impression, what to look for and after...

Thanks anyway. Very intresting.
Striker Extreme, 8800 GTX, 2GB ram, Skystar HD.
I dont Know How but after launching smart doctor window on primary monitor I found that with DX9 renderer image got right. Smooth and without any lost frames. That just once.I didnt check it again yet. Maybe I changed something in AVC mainconcept plugin or Smart doctor overclocked my 8800!
