I cant compare the PID and other info since the Prog doesnt work at all. It crashed from the beginning.

I am going to update driver and Direct X and see what happens

I used driver 4.2.8
No error messages, just crash
I have direct X 9
This happens with hotbird
The original application scans channels and saves them but no picture either.
Do I expect any difference with the 5.x version?

Cant install on a new computer

There are 3 ways to record in Prog (and I have the latest version):
1-Through EPG. This is not very useful since not many channels have it and not for long enough days.

2-Through the services menu. Only start and stop functions. no timer. I have to keep attending the recording to stop it myself ...

YOu mean the R botton, no it doesnt do anything. The EPG is not available on the majority of channels on Nilesat, and when it is it doesnt extend for more than 24 hours

Favorite Dilemma

I finally ran the prog with Skystar2 USB but when I tried to use the favorites list which I made with nova-s usb it didnt work. Do I have to keep changing the fovorites list each time I change cards or prog version??
