I did as you suggested and still no sound. The file plays fine in mx player alone. It seems like progtv is ignoring the option to send to external player.

I installed the ac3 codec to mx player and in progtv options set external player to mx player for ac3 channels. Doesn't seem to do anything like progtv is not passing it off to the external player

I understand that progtv does not support ac3 audio but is there a way around this? Does the option to make spdif output as pcm do anything?I have a few channels from my iptv service that are ac3 audio and get no sound. I tried the external player option with mx player and not work.
