@Mezga: this seems to be a common problem, I and some other guys experience the same problem. Which DVB-Card do you have and which dvb-s2 program on which satellite did you try to watch?

The PID Recorder can record the PIDs of the H264 stream and the recorded data can be played back without any problem. So the data on these specific PIDs is correct. And as I already said, the EPG data of the HD channels is also shown when tuning to them, the green marker on the bottom left is also ...

It's not a codec or PID error, must be an error in the progdvb h264 splitter or directshow module.
AltDVB and Technotrend BDA Mediacenter both have no problem viewing these channels. Also the error is the same in Vista 32bit and XP 32bit here.
DVB-Card is a Technotrend Budget 3200.

Hi,
I have the same problem with Astra and DVB-S2 channels there.
I also get a black windows, no sound, no error message and a correct EPG.
I tried different free channels (like SAT1HD, Pro7HD, ...).

I did some more research today, I created quite alot of different filter graph files using all my installed h264 decoders based on the included avc files. I edited directly the XML so that the source, the splitter and the outputs are the same.
But I still can not get progdvb to decode any hd s2 ...

I experience the same problem with ProgDVB5 in Vista 32bit.
After the scanning when ProgDVB should save the channel list it stopps responding and hangs. The channels are not saved.
I am admin, UAC is disabled and so ProgDVB runs as admin.
Device is a TT 3200, if that matters.

Hi,
for some versions 4.x and 5.x the scanning of dvb-s2 channels now works with progdvb. Even diseqc works when setting the diseqc mode to technotrend.
But I am still not able to get a picture on these s2 channels (dvb-s channels work find).
Tuning to the frequencies and locking onto the signal ...
