I'd like to to add Update when you finish scan like DD.
ProgDVB show just new and lost .
you can know update in channel name- provider -Teletext -ECM etc....

That updates do happen automatically, without notice.
This is why it's possible, to set channels to not update, by use of the adequate tag in channel properties.

1. It would be a good idea to open the DiSEqC positioner 1.2 from a menu or button in the main window. (As SmartDVB or DVBDream among others ..)

2. Another useful thing for some cards, is to visualize the signal level (number) in the interface of the positioner.

3. When you add a new satellite, it automatically downloads a list of channels. I wish this were optional.

Motor functions to move east-west. To search feed's or fine ajust for dish is very useful.

But positioner must self change position after set of channel.

Yes, for me it would be very useful one DiSEqC console similar to smartdvb, with same functions.

I think about this.

Option to allow or reject types of channels when scanning.

Maybe check boxes for

Free To Air
Scrambled
Data
Radio

The software already knows which type in channel list by colour and icon so should not be too difficult.


My Manhattan ST100 box can do this and is very useful as I am only interested in FTA TV and radio and reject all scrambled and data channels.

Otherwise this is the best DVB Program and I have tried them all.

ps: Impossible detect scrambled channel or not. Some channels scrambled only part of day.

Besides of that, there are quite a lot of scrambled channels, that are not tagged as crypted (all day), but in fact they are, like many of the Spanish on 19.2°E, just showing a background still picture then. Others may appear as crypted though in fact being transmitted in plain FTA, like some British on 28.2°E.

Intention or by error, to irritate people and some receivers, who knows...

This has already been known from analogue days, when some German FTA stations on 19.2°E carried some crypt code, to disable viewing on official British receivers.
This was done, to disable free reception of Disney origin content for the British, for copyright and licenses reasons.
