Hi,

This is my wish list (6.43):

- When open positioner console, please don't re-tune or close the video stream.
- When open positioner console, set the actual Satellite and frecuency. (without retuning.)
- If satellite have a save position defined in Sat list, show it in positioner console (in position box).
- Positoner console; Show as no-modal form.
- Show signal levels (%) on positioner console.

Thanks!

it would be nice to have a button near the find channel button with the function to hide or show the channel list so you dont have to get into the view menu... i know, you think now that i am lazy. you are right, but it realy would be nice to have that little button.

but anyway: great work! like your software. since i use it i dont have any dropouts in my recordings.

thanks, andreas

When ProgDVB starts in "TV Window" mode, the EPG is only updated the first time you hover the mouse to the left (or right) to view the EPG. It should be automatically updated when you first run the program not when you first view it. This way, if you run the ProgDVB and then check the EPG a few mins later you don't have to wait for it to update the first time.

I'm sure this would be a very easy fix.
Thanks

I tried to configure the Remote Control of my Notebook with the "Universal HID Remote Control"-Function. ProgDVB recognizes Up, Down, Left, Right & Enter correctly, but most of the other keys of the remote control are recognized as "hid code 0xFF" only.

The Remote Control is integrated, via a CIR Port and Windows interprets Remote Control presses like keyboard presses of special keys.

For example, I have three special keys on my notebook, for direct Internet- & Mail-Client access and they are recognized as follows:

Browser Key=Keyboard.Webhome
Mail Key=Keyboard.Mail
P1-Key=Keyboard.ScanF4

Remote Control presses are interpreted in the same way as keyboard buttons and special keyboard buttons:

BenQ-Key=Keyboard.LeftAlt
DVD Menu=Keyboard.LeftShift
Mute=Keyboard.ScanA6
Up=Keyboard.Up
Down=Keyboard.Down
Left=Keyboard.Left
Right=Keyboard.Right
TV-Rec=Keyboard.ScanA7
OK=Keyboard.Enter
Return/Menu Up=Keybard.BackSpace
Volume Up=Keybard.MyMusic
Volume Down=Keybard.TaskPane
Channel Up=Keyboad.ScanCA
Channel Down=Keyboard.Rule
Skip Back=Keyboard.ScanD5
Skip Forward=Keyboard.ScanD4
Play/Pause=Keyboard.ScanCE
Stop=Keyboard.ScanD6
Scroll Back=Keyboard.Print
Scroll Forward==Keyboard.Save

Maybe it is possible to integrate those special key recognition to the learning function of ProgDVBs Universal HID Remote Control, so that I am able to configure and use my remote control correctly with ProgDVB? This would make the the Program just perfect. :-)

Thank you a lot. :-)

Have a nice day
Kind regards
Morn

Hey!

First off, absolutely wonderful program as it is! :)

One thing I am not sure about, is there any way to assign a keyboard shortcut to a specific channel?

Say I have 8 FTA channels setup, I can slick next or previous, or select the channel list and manually pick one, but is there a way to assign say CTRL-1 and have it select channel 1, or CTRL-6 and have it select channel 6?

I don't have any remote devices, but I do like to have the functionality of flipping to a specific channel on the go.

If this has been asked before and answered, please point me to where it was !! ;)

Thanks in advance (Finally I can get away from WMC!!! Yay! :)

Please put all language-subfolders inside the ProgDVB-program-folder into a designated "Languages" folder - just to make better order inside ProgDVB-folder.

So instead that all the folders

ar-TN
de-DE
es-ES
fr-FR
hu-HU
it-it (why not it-IT?)
pt-BR
ru-RU
zh-CN

would appear in ProgDVB-folder, they all would be in a separate folder "Languages" (or else).

Yes, that's more or less only cosmetics, but gives better overview inside ProgDVB folder.
