Bug: "single click channel select" arrowkeys need mouseclick:
When having options "single click channel select" turned off, using up- and down-arrows on keyboard moves the blue selection field over the channel to select - but it is not yet selected until you press "enter". That is how it should be: first move the blue marker until the program you want to see - and then press enter to watch it.
This is intended to work not only with mouse, but also with arrow-keys.
But this does not work just directly after startup until you click once into the channel list with mouse.
Until the first mouse-click on any channel (can be the now running channel), using the arrow-keys work as if the option "single click channel select" is turned ON (and not turned OFF as it should be).
After one click into the channel list, moving by arrowas works as described: first move blue field until found - still watching "old" program, and begin watching new program by pressing enter.
This behaviour (need one click into channel list with mouse before deselection of "single click channel select" is working) is really annoying if you don't want to use the mouse or touchpad at all.

#722... meaningless dialogue box in scanning report ...
I have here DVB-C with one channel in QAM-64, all the others in QAM-256.
Problem when making full scan: meaningless dialogue in scanning report:
Dialogue box: "Scanning Report"
Two subwindows: "New Channels" and "Lost Channels".
Lost chanels is not empty (as standard scan did only scan QAM-256 and not QAM-64); so there is a list of about 20 channels, each channel can be selected separately; there are also two buttons: one to select all and another to unselect all.
Then I can click "OK" and "cancel" ...
Sorry, but what happens with channels when they are selected and I click OK - or what happens when they are not selected and I click OK?
The information whether "selected channels will be removed" or "unselected channels will be removed" is missing.
So please clarify that dialogue box so that it is clear what happens if a channel is selected or not!
Same thing with newly found channels: do they have to be selected or not selected to be included in the new list? What is default selection there? But with new channels it seems more logic that they are included if they are selected and not if they are not selected. But I don't know if they are also selectable in subwindow "new channels"

#723Not enough space for entire device name in simple view (TV sources)
I have here Pinnacle Quattro Stick (DVB-T/DVB-C/Analogue/Radio). It's "official device name" for BDA is:
For DVB-T:
(BDA) PCTV 510e/520e/802e BDA 2885 TVTuner
For DVB-C:
(BDA) PCTV 510e/520e/802e BDA 2885 TVTuner C
In "advanced view" this is all visible.
Switching to "simple view", you can choose between:
(BDA) PCTV 510e/520e/802e BDA 2885 TV
and
(BDA) PCTV 510e/520e/802e BDA 2885 TV
very nice - but what is what? what is DVB-C and what is DVB-T?
Problem: the dialogue box window is not enough big to show the entire name.
Please improve - thanks!

#724Kakadu: Thanks for long report. I am not have time now, but add that to my bug list.
1. About scanner, if push on cancel that scanner result is total ignored and not depended from checked channels.
2. About Simple TV Sources dialog. May be tooltips is good idea?

#725I have nothing on youtube, is blank, no video no nothing, menu is white.
Regarding Arcsoft, haupphauge release an arcsoft test codec version, that say it fixed the crashes.
Maybe someone with haupphauge tuner and latest wintv cd 2.3f give us the codec:P
Fullscreen keyboard command, "F" , not working in 6.63.05, if i press F it write letter F into fast search option(menu), and fullscreen command is not executed.
When i am in TV Window Mode, and i want to play with Volume( up or down) with mouse scroll, its not working.
In Normal screen is working.

#726No prob - you're the boss ...Prog wrote:Kakadu: Thanks for long report. I am not have time now, but add that to my bug list.

OK, but anyway - I just would write on the right side of the "select all" and "unselect all" buttons some text as: "Select channels to remove" or "selected channels will be removed" or something else in that sense. Then it will be clear. Btw: how about new channels? Do they have to be selected also? Are they automatically selected? It is just to clarify what happens with the channels you select or don't select.Prog wrote:1. About scanner, if push on cancel that scanner result is total ignored and not depended from checked channels.
What does that change? I don't see that tooltips changes anything with window-size. Isn't it possible to adapt window-size to length of the device-name? Or just make the simple window being adjustable in size - then you can enlarge it so that it will fit - and then it should work fine.Prog wrote:2. About Simple TV Sources dialog. May be tooltips is good idea?
btw - when we just are at that device window (TV sources): in simple window, you have on the left side the clients that don't need additional hardware, on the right side those that need any device (DVB-C, DVB-T, DVB-S, Analogue, etc.). You can set a mark at those "devices" that you want to use. But you have to respect that it is not possible to select both DVB-C and DVB-T with a USB device together - one of them will be in red and you are told: not usable/activatable for now. ... If you compare that with the advanced window: on top you have only those devices that are really selected (marked in simple window). I wonder that in the advanced window, there is no "devices (physically) available, but turned off" list between the lines on top (available and "turned on") and in the middle (device not turned on - unclear if available or not). When keeping that kind of list, I would prefer that you would add a "second part" where all the (physically) available devices are listed, and at the bottom (or in the lower middle as you still have the detail-window at bottom) all the devices that are not available.
Re: bug feedback - post newly found progdvb bugs here
#727hmm just noticed that ProgDVB crashes when I use something else in fullscreen (here it was the command prompt. Alt+Enter for fullscreen and when i changed back to window ProgDVB crashes).
Have yet to try if that happens with every fullscreen (like in a game or so)
PS: even happens when its not set to be on top

Keyboard keys working in interface if some interface control in focus.
When i am in TV Window Mode, and i want to play with Volume( up or down) with mouse scroll, its not working.
Some users report about that. But I am not have this bug and not have idea about that. Do you have more details?
ProgDVB add all new channels and remove selected channels. But if you push cancel then total cancel scanner result. I think no problem in logic.
But you have to respect that it is not possible to select both DVB-C and DVB-T with a USB device together
User should enable and setup both device in this way also. But check this mode in device options. ProgDVB automatic start/stop device when you change channel from one device to other.
Silent Strider: What video renderer? What "something else" ?

#729The problem in Logic is as follows. You make scan, you get list with "lost channels", they are not selected. You can select them. And now? What happens with them? Why should you select them (or some of them), why should you not select them?Prog wrote:ProgDVB add all new channels and remove selected channels. But if you push cancel then total cancel scanner result. I think no problem in logic.
I just ask: please write there what happens, why to select or not select chanels. It would be really clear if you write somewhere: "select channels to remove" ... that's all - then it should be clear; same with "select channels to add".
This is clear and not the problem: but how do you know wheter "(BDA) PCTV 510e/520e/802e BDA 2885 TV" is DVB-C or DVB-T when both look the same?Prog wrote:But you have to respect that it is not possible to select both DVB-C and DVB-T with a USB device together
I fear you did not understand what I mean; it is just a question of "what information is visible" and "is the information that you see clear to decide" - and if you can choose between "(BDA) PCTV 510e/520e/802e BDA 2885 TV" and "(BDA) PCTV 510e/520e/802e BDA 2885 TV" (that is obviously the same) it is not clear where you have to make your cross to get DVB-C or DVB-T ... Please consider: that kind of USB-Device (Pinnacle Quattro-Stick, Hauppauge 930C) cannot have both DVB-C and DVB-T active in the same time. You HAVE to decide whether to watch DVB-C OR DVB-TProg wrote:User should enable and setup both device in this way also. But check this mode in device options. Re: bug feedback - post newly found progdvb bugs here
#730Found 2 bugs:
1.Progmedia not working at all( free one included into progdvb pro trial).
It give me hundred of errors.
Progmedia is enabled into tv source, then in server mode i choose current channel, ts format, network unicast, and choose my lan ip( 192.168.0.198), port is 10999 in network menu( in progmedia) but in server mode menu( in progmedia) is show:
http://192.168.0.198:11000/
I tired with both to put them into VLC or mediaplayer, not workin.
2.
http://i51.tinypic.com/ajm90l.jpg
It happen when i exit from fullscreen into window, latest official and pre-release have this bug.
EDIT: Maybe it has something to do with option : USE GUI for OSD ?
Because i think that bug from link it happen quite often if USE GUI from OSD is enabled.( but im not 100% sure)
Regarding youtube, i try this morning with latest pre-release, not working at all
But 6 63 05 is better from stability point of view, it crashes quite rare( debug mode not showing anything)

2. Try change video renderer
3. Is it all youtube links? Same problem in 6.61.x?

Re: bug feedback - post newly found progdvb bugs here
#732yes, i try free ProgMedia Server Home( included into progdvb setup) and also Prog Media Server pro trial, with progmedia pro in the same folder as progdvb, my progdvb does not start at all.
Also, i notice that if i put this link: http://192.168.0.198:11000/ into safari, opera, etc, an interface appear,
with channel that is active, if i click on it it give me a new link, like
http://i52.tinypic.com/noy254.jpg

But image is black, also, if i take the link http://192.168.0.198:11000/Antena%203.m3u and put it into VLC, windows mediaplayer, is not working, live-tv not starting
I open the port 10999 in my router as well.
For OSD bug, i am on EVR( win7).
picture with youtube showing nothing:

#735When you EDIT an existing command (not recording) in the scheduler, the action or event is always set to "switch channels". If you forget to set it back to what you wanted, your planned command is wrong...
