No time to read a good book!
I was wrong, saying that older versions now also have no sound and picture.
After removing everything that looks like "Progdvb" from the registry, I was able to get v5.16.02 to work perfectly again.

I am new on here so please be patient with me...
For years I have been using ProgDVB and all its freeware versions happily, but after updating to the current version, I have no more sound and no picture from my DVB-S card.
