ProgDVB Elecard and H.264/DVB-S2

On download page (http://www.progdvb.com/download.htm) there is such information:

Benefits of ProgDVB Elecard edition as compared to standart ProgDVB:
...
-Ability to watch AVC/H.264 video (include DVB-S2) if appropriate codecs are installed (v 2.0 will include AVC codec in the pack)

Does it mean that if I want to watch S2 channels I have to use ProgDVB Elecard edition?
btw, in the list of cars supported by ProgDVB Elecard still there are no any DVB-S2 cards :(

No , but you need an installed H.264 Codec and proper Filtergraphs for Progdvb to see DVB-S 2 Channels...

This list is not very detailed ...but these cards belongs to :
- Cards with BDA driver (With some cards problems are possible)
because they all running under BDA drivers...as many other new dvb cards...

I have been trying both the new Hauppauge HVR4000 as well as the new Technotrend S2 card, with the Elecard version of ProgDVB.

Unfortunatly none of them work with S2 reception nor is Diseq supported yet.

I (incorrect) thought that this would have been supported under the Elecard version. I'm not sure if and when they will work, have not been able to get an answer here yet.

So I guess it basically boils down to that no S2 cards are currently supported under ProgDVB.

Both cards are cabable of using both S2 and Diseq with the software that comes with the cards, but I guess that this means that they are using private BDA extensions, that might be undocumented.

The problem is that the software that comes with them is not nearly as nice and stable as the ProgDBV sw....

So hopefully will ProgDvb be expanded to also cover these cards with S2 and Diseq.
