Some doubts

#1
Hi,

I have a hauppauge wintv-nota-t-stick and I’ve installed the progdvb 5.09.2 but I have some doubts:

1)It’s possible to change the display to configure in 16:9 (panoramic)

2)The remote control don’t work. Any help

Thanks a lot and sorry for my English

1)It’s possible to change the display to configure in 16:9 (panoramic)
as you can read xxx times in this forum.... in Direktshow Settings...
2)The remote control don’t work. Any help
ProgDVB only supports SS1 style DVB card remotes as such, over that device file and driver.

Other IR handsets either have to be used over a WinLIRC solution (if using an integrated receiver interface), or in case of a MS style HID driver used external USB or (virtual) COM port receiver or similar. May then work as keyboard emulation, reqiring to be teached in as key strokes, not remote control.

Integrating proprietary remote controls into 3rd party software requires more technical information than most manufacturers would be willing to give away, or even a full SDK (like Technotrend gave away for free, for SS1 / premium cards), to include in a device module and connect to the driver by this.

Regarding BDA driven hardware, that would even be a matter of MS license agreements with hardware manufacturers, terribly expensive and obviously limited by intention...........more i can´t help

Well

I've changed these options:

DirectShow-->Render:ProgDVB Video Renderer
Letter box mode --> Letter box for 16:9 display

But now the display is cutted in the below zone.

Any help?

Thanks a lot

i don´t know whats going on there ....

i can not remenber that 16:9 or 16:10 ever don´t work here in use of different codecs ( DScaler5,Windvd 8,FFDSHOW,Powerdvd 6 ) and progdvb versions...

and i´m using progdvb from the beginning ....

I did it!!!

I`ve installed power dvd 7 delux and I put in "custom" in direct Show all options (video, video h.267, Audio and AC3 audio) : Cyberlink Video (pcdvd7).!!!

Only the last doubt. To see the tv it's ok but..... when I record the result of the record shows me in 4:3 and not in 16:9

Any help?

Thanks

Fine :)
Only the last doubt. To see the tv it's ok but..... when I record the result of the record shows me in 4:3 and not in 16:9

the stream will be recorded as it comes ...codecs and filtergraphs have no effect on it...
