I dont understand philosophies of Progdvb, too. Seems there will never be a finished, full debugged version. Hope it should not be released new major versions without final revision of current one. Because installing new weeklly versions is problematic: loose custom frequencies lists, loose dvb card settings, new issues or behaviour appear, etc.

There are jurassic problems: diseqc 1.2, subtitles, un-sync audio to video, recording issues. Some of those can be ok in a release, but may come bad in the next...

The blindscan tool for the TBS/Proof card needs a total remake to be usable.

Well, i like Progdvb because it is user friendly, it has the easiest, most intuitive interfaces. And it has many network functions (never tested this, I only use dvb receiver to tv).

Because all problem depended from current PC
And, so.
1. What problem with diseq? It is very depended from hardware level.
2. What problem with subtitles?
3. Do you have problem with sync in last versions with prog demux + prog audio renderer + custom EVR? Because I am not have same reports from other users.

About blind scanner - this is not official function. TBS and Prof - TOTAL not support this API. You can ask CrazyCat more about settings.

With version 6.83.3 PIP doesnt work. I dont know since that happens, dont use pip commonly.
I think my "hardware problems" are getting worst... :D :D :D

it is 2 different problems.
1. aac. possible aac codec not like working with this channel or/and ProgDVB fill not correct MediaType for that. Do you use divx aac?

2. With mpeg2 audio situation very depended from audio renderer and audio renderer. You can try Prog Demux + Prog Audio renderer or MS + System audio renderer.

1 . two versions befores, AAC audio was good. Divx or Elecard codec all bad. Tunning the channel three or four times opens audio.

2. Using standard (progdmux, prog renderer). But same results with other part combinations. Other DVB players running smooth audio same machine.
