HVR and mentioned above pinnacle are dual cards DVBS/T/C (depending on model) and analog tuner built in
The analog tuner part is equipied with hardware MPEG2 encoder same for Hauppauge PVR models (analog tuner with hardware MPEG2 encoder)

I tested ProgDVB with PVR 150 and it did not work not sure ...

I tried to run v 6.0 32bit on my Vista x64 with 8 GB and 4GB of ram and I run into several problems
first some info on my setup

1) i don't have any plugins installed in this new version
2) its a fresh install in new folder so everything is installed from scrach
