Hi,
this issue is a duplicate of viewtopic.php?t=3624
raised on Mar 11 following the evaluation of the fix for the garbage chars in subtitles strings.
The background subtitle color issue has been introduced on SW 6.04.06.
It was not present on SW 6.04.05.
I tested it on the same environment with the same video renderer/video codec.
The issue is still present on SW 6.05.
Regards.

As far as I can understand it happens with both teletext and bitmap subtitles.
I take uk channels subtitles at 28.2°East (ie 10729MHz) as a reference since they are broadcasted as TXT and bitmap on two different pids.
Rubertti, can you tell the developers what channel were you watching while capturing your screenshot?
Thank you Prog.
Kind regards.
