I am still in test period of Pro version, dotay updated to 6.10 . I am very disappointed due to strange look of channels menu, that is version to version worst! Big line spacing, due to unusable and unswitchable EPG and LOGO displaying needs continuous scrolling, that works very strange in TV Window mode.
I expected solving of bugs in positioner (motor) control and in channel lists in new wersion, but got only unusable weakness, that makes contol of satellite stranger that it was. There are still many unsolved bugs in ProgDVB 6 (Win Vista64), that indicates current status as Beta version:

1. Comon issue: If i scan satellite and prefer some language (e.g. Czech in my case of Thor 3/5 - DiGiTV stations) at many cases is stored language Hungary. Switching to Czech must be done manually at many channels, but saving new value dont work in many cases! Approx 3-8 attempts must be done, before correct value is stored! No dependency was observed, it works ocassional...

2. Motor issue! If i tune one satelliite, it works. To ver. 6.0x was separate folder for each satellite and jumping between various stations at different satellites (to other folder) caused correct motor move. Now, all stations are in tree (according to satellite) in one folder an motor moves only ocassionally. More attempts and switching to more other stations at same satellite must be done, before motor moves... Its unusable and frustrating... It also works ocassional, no dependency observed. In previous versions the dependency was, that it stopped work if Favorite folder of channels was created.

3. Inactual transponder lists! Almost half of stations are not found if scanning satellite, founding all of them needs manually scan of each missing transponder! Very strange at Thor 3/5 ! Blind scan works 5x slowly if compare to table receivers and needs hours !

I am sorry not to buy product in this state of beta testing... (only 11 trial days left). You will buy car, if doors ocasionally locks, engine ocassionally deads and steering wheel ocaccionally react? I apolologize for this critic. I dont need channel lists with weaknesses as logo, epg bars with centimeter line spacing, but first I need basic functions, reliable working. DISEq 1.2/USALS is a basic function in every cheap low-end table receiver, nor in HD receivers! In Y. 2009 i expect this function in SW for HD card from leading SAT card producer Technisat. Unfortunately he sells cards at low cost only with SD software. I am afraid that development of ProgDVB runs in blind street, it this functions worked correctly in older versins 4.x with older cards (Technisat SS2 - not HD).

You can select old style of channel list in propetries dialog.

1. Try disable update PMT in settings->Options->Other->Scanner. Also you can select your language in Options.

2. You can make separate list for every position. It is not problem and not request more 15 seconds for every list.
channel list-> New->Dynamic...

3. Hm. I check it.

ps: Hardware receivers always better. Better hardware, not have problems with directshow etc.

I have a TBS 8920 card and I tried with win 32.
- Diseqc 1.0 is working now, finally.
- Diseqc 1.1 works partialy. The input 4 dont turn on, the others do. I have only a diseqc switch with 8 inputs, and saw it is doing diferent of other programs. In progdvb when I select a port more than 8 (9,10...) it returns to port 1, the other programs disable all inputs.
- The remote channel list is working ok, but it is too large, it covers most the video image. The diseq 1.0 works ok with channel change.
- The scanning is missing many transponders.

I tried diseqc 1.1 with both tbs and prof cards, it is still not working ok.
Diseqc 1.0 ok.

You can try add delay in settings->Options->Other->Scanner

Refering to version 6.10.1 . Yes, I use 4 sec wait. But I found that the scanning issues are caused by drivers. Changing the driver versions, the problems change. The TBS drivers are bad, some can´t even lock on S2 signals, others don´t lock small symbol rates. The prof driver 1.1.0.3 has the best scanning I tested, nothing misses.
The diseqc 1.1 didn´t work ok with any the drivers.
